Emily Taylor is a professional dog trainer certified in basic obedience, advanced obedience, off-leash training and puppy pre-school.  Emily received her certification from National K9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio in 2013. Since then, Emily has worked as a private dog trainer and in Spring 2016, she chose to establish Sharpie’s Place Dog Training.

 

For her entire life, Emily has been passionate about all animals, but especially dogs. As a trainer her goal is to see owners and their dogs have a great relationship. She believes that all owners can have the well-behaved dog they’ve always wanted. All it requires is proper training and just a little bit of effort.

 

The training method Emily uses focuses on praise, motivation and correction. Throughout her years as a trainer, she’s seen success with even the most stubborn of dogs by using this method.

By the time a dog's training finishes, Emily’s goal is for their owner to feel confident and stress-free about their dog’s behavior.
